Dr. Hamid Tahaei earned his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, in 2018, and prior to that, obtained M.Sc. degrees from the University of Technology Malaysia, Malaysia in 2013. Commencing his academic journey in 2018, he served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Computer System and Technology, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya. Subsequently, he assumed roles as an assistant professor in 2020 at Xiamen University and as an Associate Professor in 2024 at Shaoxing University. His research pursuits encompass IoT Cybersecurity, Software-Defined Networks, and Network Traffic Classification. Dr. Tahaei has contributed to scholarly discourse through publications in esteemed journals and actively participates in academia as a reviewer for various reputable platforms.
